Why it’s useful?
If you are in the process of setting up your own software development business it is important to match the contract to the type and size of work you are being invited to deliver. This contract and associated statement of work is a short and simple contract to be used for the delivery small scale projects. Typically I have used such a document to sign-up clients wanting software enhancements to existing software system. I would not use this kind of agreement for works with a value above £10,000.
This will become premium content in the new year and as such a chargeable item so get this while you can.
How to use it?
Many parts of this contract must be changed in order to adapt it for your own use. These are highlighted in RED. Many of the words highlighted can be replaced using Words find and replace function saving lots of time.
